Amanda S. Hilty

Amanda S. Hilty is a shareholder in the firm. She has practiced civil litigation in Texas since 1988. She is a graduate of the University of Houston with a B.A Degree and received a J.D. degree from South Texas College of Law in 1987.

She is admitted to practice in all Texas state and Federal District Courts, as well as the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Hilty has a varied litigation practice. She has handled all types of personal injury lawsuits including products liability, premises liability, construction defects, deceptive trade practices, wrongful death & survivorship, and other tort actions. She has particular expertise in cases involving the trucking industry and represents some of the largest trucking companies in the nation. She also has expertise in complex, catastrophic and high-exposure cases and has experience in labor and employment law cases.

High exposure litigation, document and issue-intensive litigation are of particular interest and enjoyment for Ms. Hilty. After over thirty years of litigation practice, Ms. Hilty still enjoys not only the stimulating mental challenge of a complex case, but also the essence of the battle getting to and inside the courtroom.

Ms. Hilty was selected to Texas Super Lawyers: 2014 – 2015, 2017 – 2024.
